The Innovation Hub consists of different sessions, which are presented in the following program schedule. The guest speakers and expert talks are announced two weeks before the actual event on the platform. During the course of the seminar, the speaker structure is continuously developed and adapted to the requirements and demands of the participants.

Important: the program agenda is timed to the German CET (GMT+2) time but also notes Jordan EEST (GMT +3) time. Daylight Savings Time (25/10) in Germany and Jordan will have to be accounted for.

Program Stages

Ideation: Overall Innovation & Ideation Process and Tools

  • Understand the entire innovation process, personal qualities and ambitions as well as methods and tools for idea generation. Get to know yourself and what is creativity.

Concept Development – Part 1: Exploration of the challenge and need for Innovation

  • Understand what you should focus on and how to explore/discover challenges and problems.
  • Deepen the thematic expertise relevant to the interests of the participants and in areas relevant to energy, water and natural resources.
  • Explore state-of-art topics, ongoing activities, needs, and capacities.
  • Understand market needs and potential cooperation possibilities.
  • Networking with practitioners.

Concept Development – Part 2: Definition of Proposed Solution Ideas for Specific Problem/Challenge/Need

  • Understand methods and tools for rapid idea and solution brainstorming, pre-evaluation and prioritization.
  • Define the proposed solution ideas for specific problems, needs and challenges.

Rapid testing and validation of key solution ideas

  • Understand methods and strategies to assess and test an idea.
  • Understand the strengths, weaknesses, potential, and threats regarding your idea.
  • Matchmaking for further solution development

 

Each program stage consists of different types of activities:

 

Plenary Sessions/ Symposium

The symposium will focus on special guest lecturers that will present cutting-edge information on inspiring and innovative topics in the areas of energy, water, and natural resource management and development. The topics are chosen in line with the interests of the seminar participants. These are also the opening and closing sessions of the overall event.

 

Coaching session

The coaching sessions are digital, individual or group meetings with our coaches and mentors. They will offer you direct input and feedback on how to develop and apply your particular idea in your given field.

 

Self-study

In self-study sessions the participants will meet in groups and work jointly on the particular assignments from other sessions. These sessions are designed to allow you to work on the ideation-to-implementation processes previously taught as an individual or in groups. The coaches and mentors will be present throughout these sessions to address any questions you may have.

Workshops

The workshop sessions are designed to create practical and empowering growth for our participants. Our trainers and experts will demystify and lay out the most effective paths to develop your ideas for real world application as well as ways to find the right idea for you. Our workshops will cover powerful open-source or low-cost tools and platforms for growth hacking, marketing, development, management, and sales.

 

Marketplace

Marketplace sessions are designed to give participants the opportunity to meet various institutions, entrepreneurs and experts in digital booths. You can present your own ideas and receive feedback from practitioners to better understand the market demand and potential of the idea. The participants will have the opportunity to exchange digital business cards, network, and establish new contacts for future collaboration.

What you get out of this journey depends on you!

Participation Modes:

Easy: Join the online sessions and get a taste of mastering your own ideas.

Moderate: Join the online sessions and at least 2 hours of weekly assignment – initiating the innovation process for your future idea solution.

Master: Join the online sessions and up to 5 hours of weekly assignment and use of individual coaching to develop a fine-tuned, innovative idea ready to implement.
